DISCLAIMER: Because of limited bandwidth, we will be capping this year’s program at ~20 -24 4th-5th students. Students will be admitted on a first come, first serve basis. All students beyond capacity will be put on a waitlist.

This year, Fremont Debate Academy (FDA), a 501 © (3) non-profit organization, is running a 8 week long competitive debate program focusing on the Middle School Public Debate Format at Bringhurst Elementary School. Students will learn various structured forms of argumentation, and research techniques. Through practice sessions, drills, and mini-competitions, students’ public speaking skills will be vastly improved. It will be led by Bringhurst teacher Ms. Tsung and a FDA high school leads Isha Kannan & Vivaan Dudani. At the end of the school year, there will be a FDA international tournament!

Debate sessions will be held on Mondays from 3:30pm to 5:00 pm in room C226. There will be 8 classes for this program. The start date for the sessions will be March 4th. Our last session will be on April 29th. Students can stay in room C226 with Ms. Tsung until the program starts at 3:30 or be dropped off / picked up by parents.
