Introducing Fremont Debate Academy's fourth annual summer camp! This debate camp will be taught during 8 sessions (specific dates can be seen above). We will be teaching the nationally recognized Middle School Public Debate format, gearing students toward competition in the future. All instructors are highly successful national ranked debaters from Irvington Debate. Most recently, our instructors were able to push Horner Debate to place Top 10 at Nationals, and be awarded #1 in the South and East Bay Debate League. Our alumni students have qualified to elimination rounds or won tournaments in prestigious high school invitationals over 30times, and include the youngest qualifier to the National Tournament of Champions in Irvington Debate history.
We will be splitting up students into a Novice and Advanced section. The novice section will be for those students who have little to no experience with debate and are looking to learn the basics of the Middle School Public Debate Format (MSPDP). The advanced offering will specifically be geared towards students who have participated in one of the FDA programs before, and we will be going in depth into more complex arguments, and content focused material (Economics, analysis about the Middle East, politics and government, and more ) Both the Novice and Advanced offerings will strongly prepare your students for Middle School Debate and beyond. All students will gain access to our comprehensive curriculum being developed by a team of 30+ individuals on our education team.
Make sure to let your friends and family know about this opportunity. See you there!
